Once your application is received, our Volunteer Manager will reach out to let you know about any upcoming volunteer opportunities, and to sign you up for our monthly Volunteer Newsletter. For other volunteering questions please contact

- Setup and teardown of special events 
- Docents and other educational volunteer position 
- Photographing and/or videoing events and programs 
- Assist with installation and de-installation of exhibitions

Call for Art Class Proposals
WAWA - Weird and Wonderful Art Adult Classes and Workshops @ BMoCA
BMoCA seeks Colorado-based art educators interested in developing and teaching adult visual arts classes at its Boulder location for the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters in serial and intensive workshop formats. The museum is open to all creative pursuits in the contemporary arts that can educate an adult audience in learning new techniques and developing a deeper understanding of creative practice. We encourage educators to consider distinct approaches within their creative practice to bring attention to the unique and esteemed work of local artists.
For Fall 2025 we are interested in the following practices (deadline is 8/15/25):
- New Media, 
- Digital lens based, 
- Participatory/performance, 
- Multi-disciplinary/multi-media, 
- Internet art 
For Spring 2026 we are interested in the following practices (deadline is 9/30/25):
- DIY 
- Environmental 
- Spatial 
TO APPLY: 
Please submit all materials to education@bmoca.org using Adult Workshop Proposal in the subject line.  Please include: 
- a brief cover letter that includes a 250–500 word description of the workshop you are proposing. 
- An updated resumé/CV. 
- a link to your work online (website and/or social media); images of past student work appreciated but not required. 
- Proposed structure of workshop; is this a once a week class for several weeks? 2-3 day intensive workshop? 
- Provide days/hours available to teach. 
- Provide a cost estimate for the materials needed per student. 
Chosen applicants can expect to be contacted in an informal Zoom interview with BMoCA’s Education staff prior to workshops being scheduled.
