Visitor Services Representative
As a Visitor Services Representative, you are responsible for part-time work at the front desk, within galleries, during exhibition installation, and in the administrative offices during weekdays, weekends, and after hours programs/events as scheduled. We welcome ages 16-100 to apply to this position.
Hours and Compensation:
The Visitor Services Representative position is part-time for 10-24 hours per week depending on events, rentals, and exhibitions. Weekend availability is required. You will be required to attend occasional off-site and on-site events in the evenings. The hourly rate for this position is $15.57/hour. This position does not include health benefits and paid vacations.

Contract Job Opportunity: Art Educator
BMoCA is searching for a qualified candidate for the contract position of Art Educator for our serial early/youth education programming, Young Artists at Work (YAW) for the 2025-26 school year.
About YAW and the Art Educator role:
BMoCA is searching for a well-qualified, enthusiastic candidate with experience in art and/or museum education, with interest and experience working with students in K–6th grades. Young Artists at Work (YAW) day camps offer a dynamic and inspiring day of artistic expression, where campers explore artists and art materials, and have fun together in an art museum setting!
This program is for youth in Kindergarten – 6th grades. Camps correspond to Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) non-student contact days, and in 2025-2026 there are 12 camp days scheduled. All camps are taught by this Art Educator role, and the Educator reports to the Senior Manager of Education.
Hours & Schedule:
This job has a dynamic work schedule that requires flexibility. YAW is offered onsite at BMoCA on BVSD non-student contact days. The morning session is 9AM-12PM and the afternoon session is 1PM-4PM.
The YAW educator must be able to commit to a full camp day starting at 8:30AM and ending at 4:30PM with an hour-long lunch break from 12 to 1PM.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a contract employee position. $150 per program date for YAW programs; an additional planning time stipend will be provided each academic semester; Health insurance and paid vacation are not included with this position.

WAWA - Weird and Wonderful Art Adult Classes and Workshops @ BMoCA
BMoCA seeks Colorado-based art educators interested in developing and teaching adult visual arts classes at its Boulder location for the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters in serial and intensive workshop formats. The museum is open to all creative pursuits in the contemporary arts that can educate an adult audience in learning new techniques and developing a deeper understanding of creative practice. We encourage educators to consider distinct approaches within their creative practice to bring attention to the unique and esteemed work of local artists.
For Fall 2025 we are interested in the following practices (deadline is 8/15/25):
