ArtStop and ArtStop on the Go
ArtStop provides free, hands-on art making for families during the Boulder County Farmers’ Market (Saturdays & Wednesdays). Held outdoors on the front porch of the museum, creative projects are designed to complement exhibitions within the museum.
ArtStop on the Go is an off-site, outreach program that provides after-school art education for youth ages 5-12. Launched in 2008, ArtStop on the Go has impacted the lives of thousands of youth and their families through hands-on art projects, instructional workshops, and quality time spent with artists, art educators, and museum staff.
ARTLab
In 2011, BMoCA launched ARTLab, an ambitious effort to engage underserved high school students in Boulder County with fine arts and an immersive studio art program. ARTLab empowers teens to build positive futures by expressing themselves through art while also earning credits towards graduation. Through ARTLab, students learn about future careers in artistic fields and to trust their creative voices.

Past Programs
BMoCA + AIA Colorado
BMoCA’s four-year partnership with AIA Colorado seeks to foster, promote, and inspire dialogue about what innovative design can accomplish for innovative cities. It is our goal to explore the powerful intersection between art, architecture, and our community.
BMoCA + Swoon International Artists Residency
The BMoCA + Swoon International Artists Residency exists to invite creatives from around the world to explore their practice within the Boulder community. Our goal is to foster the growth of emerging and established artists, musicians, writers, dancers, and other creatives by providing them with the studio space, resources, time, and freedom to take risks and realize expansive works of their imagination.
Virtual Studio Tours
Hosted at 12pm on BMoCA’s Instagram! Virtual Studio Tours are a 30 min interactive program that explores local contemporary artist studios. Artists take viewers behind the scenes of their studio practice with insights into their processes, inspirations and artwork.
