Virtual Studio Tour: Kahlil Cezanne

Virtual Studio Tours are 30 min interactive programs that explore local contemporary artist studios. Artists take viewers behind the scenes of their studio practice with insights into their processes, inspirations and artwork.

Kahlil Cezanne Zawadi is a Denver based artist working in various mediums including photography, sculpture, and music. Born 1992, Kahlil Cezanne Zawadi is a native artist to Denver, Colorado. Still living and working in the city; he has shown with Rule Gallery, Leisure Gallery and Gildar gallery. He’s currently pursuing his BFA in photography at Metro state university. Having worked with cement, plastic, and silicon as well as analog photography Kahlil allows the medium he’s working with to guide his concepts. Focusing on themes of race, identity, and memory Kahlil continues to make work while advancing his higher education.Image courtesy of the artist.
