Upcycled Denim DIY

  • Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art 1750 13th Street Boulder Museum Of Contemporary Art United States (map)

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to block printing on clothing through designing, carving, and printing custom linoleum blocks directly onto garments using fabric-safe ink. Focusing on DIY creativity and wearable art, the class centers on transforming clothes with original printed designs while learning the fundamentals of carving and textile printing. After printing, participants will have the option to further personalize their pieces using fabric markers and hand-sewn patches. The result is a one-of-a-kind, artist-designed piece to wear and keep. Note: this class meets for 2 sessions.
