Join us for an evening of music, interactive art, chess, and more, to reminisce about a low-tech/slow-tech past that is the 90’s-early/2000’s web culture! Come dressed as your favorite aesthetic of the Y2K and dance the night away! DJ Day Job (@itsdayjobmusic) will be playing some tunes inspired by our current exhibition, MediaLive: Data Rich, Dirt Poor, which examines our complex relationship with technology through innovative, thought-provoking new media art.
Interested in exploring the intersection of sound, climate science, and film? Student volunteers from CU Boulder’s own Radio 1190 will also curate unique music selections to offer personal interpretations of each work in MediaLive.
Syncopation is BMoCA’s new after-hours art-infused experience that spotlight unique perspectives on our exhibitions from Boulder’s creative community. Syncopation takes place three times a year to coincide with each exhibition.
Cash bar and light snacks. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets are $25/$20 members
