This event is a response to the work of Celeste/Ále Campos in BMoCA's current exhibition MediaLive: Technology as Healing, and will examine the complicated notion of "home" and how we express our identities in relation to where we come from, our chosen family and how we define "home" currently, and how we can use technologies such as clothing, makeup, and social media platforms to express ourselves and to build connection by sharing our stories.

About Coco Bardot
Coco Bardot is and believes in #blackgirlmagic. This Queen is living her showgirl dreams in the Denver Metro Area. Performing in Drag and Draglesque for almost a decade, she's always bringing new ideas on stage to shake up the conversation. Voted Colorado DIVAs Best Burlesque Entertainer and Not So Freshest Face 2023, she's continuing to be a shining example of Drag and Burlesque excellence. Her Drag is a tribute to the Sapphic goddesses that came before her and in the memory of the fiercest Black woman in her world, her Grandmother Pearl. On her off time, she's one proud mom.
About Felony Misdemeanor
Felony Misdemeanor (aka Theariale St. Cyr) is the founder and Drag Mother of the Misdemeanor family. For 23 years, Felony has been honing her craft as a drag performer; 20 of those years have been spent here in Denver, far from her El Paso roots. In that time, her Colorado legs have grown strong (and shapely), and she shines as the gold standard for what a queen should be. With hair, makeup, body, costumes, and heels always on point, Felony is confident, humble, irreverent, hilarious, beautiful, sexy, professional and, most of all, never boring. Her name may sound like trouble, but she's a blessing in disguise for our drag community.
About Miss Zarah Misdemeanor
Miss Zarah Misdemeanor is a fun loving, high energy performance drag queen! Zarah has been performing in drag for 9 years and loves to entertain. Zarah is the Co Founder of Black Pride Colorado and is currently on the first season of Generation Drag, now streaming on MAX (HBO). Zarah loves doing charity and community work. She also enjoys working with children, eating fried chicken, and taking long walks to the bank to exchange her $1 tips for bigger bills!
About Freya Misdemeanor
Freya Misdemeanor is the newest addition to the Misdemeanors! After her relocation from Florida, she is excited to continue to share her heart, beauty, and glamour with Colorado. Of her drag family, Freya says, "In the short time I’ve been around the Misdemeanors, I’ve experienced nothing but love, patience, togetherness, and genuinely having each other's back."
