Open Wall 2018
March 30, 2018 @ BMoCA

4:30pm doors open for artists
4:30-6:30pm installation period
5:30-8pm free public reception + silent auction
8pm auction closes

Local artists are invited to BMoCA to share their work at Open Wall – a one-night, self-curated exhibition and silent auction that raises funds for BMoCA and your local art community. Mingle with artists and art supporters, bid on a new work of art for your collection, and enjoy music, light hors d’œuvres, and drinks.

Call for artists:

Show your work at BMoCA’s Open Wall and support your museum. Participation is free, and pre-registration is not required, but encouraged. Please bring your filled out registration form to Open Wall. Artists install their work beginning at 4:30pm on a first-come, first-serve basis. BMoCA provides wall space, pedestals, hammers, and nails. All artistic media are welcome.

Proceeds are split 50/50 between the artist and BMoCA. Artists who are members of BMoCA receive a greater percentage of the sale of their work through a 60/40 split with the museum. To become a member or learn about our membership levels, please click here.

Open Wall is also a part of the 2018 Boulder Arts Week, where over 300 diverse, fun, entertaining and world-class experiences are available in a single week. Students, seniors and families are invited to take advantage of low cost and FREE events, including art walks, exhibitions, performances (dance, music, theatre), artist demonstrations, lectures, readings and symposia.
