Born 1944 in Mansfield, Ohio, lives in Lawrence, Kansas. BS, studio art, Ashland College, Ohio. MFA, painting, Southern Illinois University (1968). Emeritus Professor of Fine Arts, University of Colorado at Boulder, where he taught since 1969. In her paintings and drawings Teresa Booth Brown attempts to make order out of chaos – to organize thoughts and ideas that resists written language. Starting with a simple composition, each painting is developed intuitively by the addition and subtraction of layers of paint, collage, and drawing.
Born in Portland, Oregon, lives in Longmont, Colorado.
