Trine Bumiller: Field of Vision
January 31 – May 15, 2022
@ Frasier

Trine Bumiller creates abstract landscape paintings that reveal quiet, intimate moments of our natural surroundings. Her practice synthesizes elements of memory, time, and natural phenomena in a way that creates clear rhythms, patterns, and harmony within each work. From a young age, the artist surrounded herself with the natural world having grown up spending her summers on the lakes of North Michigan. Bumiller’s practice continues to preserve a sense of gratitude and close connection with the outdoors and its ever changing presence.

BMoCA at Frasier is a collaboration between Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and Frasier Retirement Community. Curated by BMoCA, this series of exhibitions in The Canyons Gallery is an extension of the museum’s exhibition schedule. Each exhibition is complemented by a series of education programs.
