Nicholas Hondrogen
Natural Selection

Nicholas Hondrogen's Natural Selection is an ongoing series of paintings that explore elements of chance, randomness and causality. The paintings use neuroimaging technology to formulate a visual language that creates interior portraits of the mind. His Fractal Ellipse studies evolved from this series and are influenced by Benoit Mandelbrot's thinking on fractals.
