Art Stop is an activity-based program that gives children of all ages hands-on experience making artwork, and helps to introduce families to the opportunities of museum discovery. Assisted by local artists and educators, visitors are provided with materials and encouraged to creatively explore ideas related to current BMoCA exhibitions, and the color and textures of the Boulder County Farmers' Market.
Art Stop is held on the museum's front porch from 9am-1pm every Saturday
morning during the Farmers' Market (May-October).
Art Stop is made possible by generous support from 15th Street Studio, the
Robin and Kevin Luff Foundation, and Guiry's.
To encourage participation in the arts; to promote an understanding of the relationship between visual and performing arts; to illuminate the role of arts in contemporary society; and to position BMoCA as a thought leader and community resource.
