Kimberlee Sullivan: Weather Pattern
February 1 – May 6, 2018
@ Macky

The question that arises in response to Kimberlee Sullivan’s ambiguously abstract works is whether they are based on an observation of nature or observation of art. Attention to land, weather and water – the cycle of atmospheric conditions – suffuse these works with pervasive references to landscape, seascape, skyscape and their dynamically shifting patterns, currents and “moods.”
